Chamber of Creation is a new project created by Antonello Epifani and the American singer bassist and lyricist Steve Bonino, featuring the extraordinary voice of Laura Piazzai. Basically, anything featuring that particular voice is an instant hit on this website.

There are two versions, the single and an extended sax mix, and it is the latter I shall be playing on my radio show this coming Saturday at Progzilla.com 16:00 UK time.

As you will hear, this takes classic rock and prog metal influences in an interesting fusion with definite commercial sensibilities therein, the vocals loud and proud, with some very noticeable piano from Epifani, whilst Bonino & Quarti provide for a distinctive rhythm section, and Simone Milliava gives us a nice guitar burst which bodes very well for the main album.

The extended sax version features the talents of Max Mantovani, and it is this I would strongly recommend to you, absolutely having me looking forward to the main course later this year. It is embedded below, and there is a distinctly smoky element added here, blues-infused, and very good.
